Bitdefender also offers browser extensions for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari so that you can use it with your preferred browser. Passkey support is something else this password manager currently lacks but the company plans to add it at a later date. Easy to install and use, Bitdefender Password Manager works on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS but not Linux at the moment. To get its new password manager up an running quickly, Bitdefender licensed the technology from SaferPass and then integrated it into its Central online portal. Even if you forget to un-share something, it expires automatically and the recipient's access is removed.īitdefender Password Manager is a bargain for those looking for a password manager from a well-trusted company at just $20 for the first year ($30 upon renewal). This feature lets users share links that can only be used on one device and automatically expire at a time of your choosing. To make it easier to securely share confidential information with friends, family and co-workers, Keeper has added One-Time Share to its password manager. It also offers a free secure messaging service. It offers a consistent, if not flashy, user interface no matter which platform you're using, and 20 templates to fill in personal documents such as passports and driver's licenses. Keeper's free tier gives you everything except syncing across devices.įor an extra $25 per year, Keeper will also monitor the internet for unauthorized use of your personal data and give you 10GB of secure cloud storage, or you can add those services individually for $20 and $10 per year, respectively. Keeper ( $20.98 per year for Tom's Guide readers) is fast and full-featured, stores files and documents of any kind and has perhaps the best security of any password manager. By itself, the VPN costs $96 yearly, so it's a huge bargain when bundled with Dashlane. That makes Dashlane Premium's $60 price tag well worth it if you need these extra services. On the upside, the Dashlane Premium plan offers dark-web monitoring and unlimited VPN service, the latter courtesy of Hotspot Shield. Dashlane's free plan is limited to one device but it does let you store an unlimited number of passwords. Its Premium plan is $60 per year, or $78 per year if you pay monthly. ![]() A scanner also goes through your email inbox to find online accounts you may have forgotten about.ĭashlane's drawback is its high price. The password manager is well designed, easy to use and excellent at filling out your personal information in online forms. ![]() Its killer feature remains a bulk password changer that can reset hundreds of passwords at once. Dashlane matches LastPass, 1Password and Keeper in platform support and has very intuitive desktop software.

All you have to do is to hook up a portable battery, slide it inside the dedicated pocket and you are all set to charge from the outside of the luggage whenever you desire. Inside the carry-on, the charging port has two cables: one for charging the power bank and the other, for piping juice to your phone. It comes with external USB port, discreetly located to the right of the luggage – complete with a protective dust cover. It is smart too, in the areas of looks and functionality. Having said that, with Rollux, you also get the boon of nothing having to own too many suitcases because, it is already two-in-one. Basically, it is both a small carry-on that complies to most airlines strict carry-on standard and a full-size suitcase. Now, expandable luggage aren’t exactly new, but what makes Rollux stands out from what the market has to offer is, it is a carry-on that can be expanded to double of its original size. From the folks who pretty much revolutionized expandable suitcases, Fugu Luggage, Rollux can be described as one-of-a-kind carry-on. I wouldn’t have this problem if I have Rollux 2-in-1 Suitcase. When that happens, I use vacuum bags to maximize the space and mostly, I would end up with spanking new suitcase to accommodate the stuff that I have bought. Their Kickstarter campaign is being run with pledges starting from $219.I don’t travel a lot, but when I do travel, I almost always find myself running out of suitcase space on the returning trip. The Israel based team has already managed to receive a grant from Office of the Chief Scientist of Israel’s Ministry of Economy. The Fugu Luggage concept came from Isaac Atlas who formed a team with Daniel Gindis and David Lifshitz to further develop the idea. It comes with omni multi-directional wheels to assist in easy dragging of the case. Fugu also contains an optional laptop case that can be removed if required. The fully extended height of the case makes it a favorable choice to be used as a table or laptop stand. ![]() The case is equipped with removable shelves that turn the bag into a storage unit, allowing the users to live out of the suitcase without going through the trouble of unpacking and packing to and from a hotel closet. The case is waterproof and passed the altitude drop test with flying colors. ![]() The Fugu team has claimed that the drop stitch walls are strong enough to take a beating and even the top and bottom of the case can withstand impacts thanks to the ABS plastic they have been made from. We all know your belongings need to be protected when they are inside the luggage and fear not, for this aspect has been dealt with as well. The built-in pump is also capable of deflating any vacuum bags to reduce the volume of clothing during packing. The inflation can be carried out in a number of ways one could use the electric pump, an external pump (part of the package) or make use of the power of lungs to breathe in the air through an external tube. It weighs 4 kg, which is about the same as the average sized luggage.įor the conversion to begin, the user has to inflate the suitcase walls that have been manufactured with drop stich – a rugged PVC material found in inflatable boats. Fugu can extend to a height of 68 cm with a volume of 120 L. The case measures 55 cm wide, 35 cm deep and 23 cm high with a volume of 40 L to comply with the limitations imposed by airlines for maximum carry-on size. Named after the pufferfish (Fugu), the bag can transform between different carrying capacity sizes thanks to the side walls similar to accordion. Fugu Luggage is capable of transforming from a maximum carry-on size to a maximum check-in size suitcase within minutes. ![]() Say hello to Fugu Luggage that will eliminate the need for an extra suitcase to help you with carrying all the extra stuff back to home. The usual carry-on luggage capacity is fine when you are traveling to a place, however, it often falls short during your return journey because then you have a number of additional items in your bag. Another important thing to keep in mind: If you wash the fabric separately, make sure to put it back on the frame before it dries. Diligent cleaners advocate for vacuuming and wiping down a stroller every week or even after every use, but in many circumstances, one deep clean every season is plenty-or even once a year if the stroller isn’t used regularly. Later characterized by intense gore that transforms bodies from conventional humans to abstract meat, the film opens with a montage of close-ups on the inside of a car. In Titane, a female serial killer named Alexia who has sex with cars, poses as a fireman's long-since disappeared son in order to evade capture. Letterboxd user matt lynch called the film “A tremendous work about what it means to be meat,” evoking a continuation of Ducournau's interest in the body's tenuous humanity. This feature sets the tone for her sophomore project Titane, released in 2021 and awarded that year's prestigious Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. ![]() Against this nightmare-inducing backdrop, Ducournau paints a tender portrait of sisterhood and female kinship. This is the scene that comes to mind when I think of French filmmaker Julia Ducournau's first film, the 2016 horror film Raw, which tells the story of a vegetarian veterinary school student who develops cannibalistic urges after tasting meat for the first time. There is no such fantasy in Raw despite everything that happens involving Justine, Alexia and other members of the student body - not to mention their bodies and some of their members - our heroines stay recognizably and sometimes unpleasantly human.A woman ravenously bites into her sister's severed finger. One of the best horror films to deal with these subjects was 2000’s Ginger Snaps, but even that terrific little movie kept some distance from the heart of the matter by making poor Ginger the victim of a werewolf bite. The pressure to go along, whether with the often sadistic and pointless hazing antics, the excessive drugs and sex at the campus parties or her own family traditions (her parents are veterinarians as well), clearly begins to eat at Justine’s nerves it doesn’t help that she finds more comfort in the company of her gay Muslim roommate (Rabah Nait Oufella, a whole other movie walking around inside this one) than her sister, who resentfully sees Justine as their parents’ favorite.īut it’s no accident that Alexia is right in the thick of things when Justine begins to experience an entirely foreign set of sensations and desires, precipitating the launch of a whole new raft of metaphors concerning sibling rivalry and female sexuality. ![]() Right from the get-go, the social commentary in Raw takes center stage, particularly when it comes to the nastier side of hazing - although at this point, after a number of movies dealing with the subject, I don’t think there is any other side (one scene has a boy and girl who seem to barely know each other, one painted yellow and one painted blue, thrown into a room together and told not to come out “until you’re green”). Justine, already on the shy, brainy side and not into school parties or hazing at all, is forced to down that kidney - an act that awakens in her first a terrifying allergic reaction on her skin, and then a desire for more flesh, and not necessarily that of animals. It turns out that even high-minded students who wish to save the lives of animals have their own brutal hazing rituals for freshmen, one of which involves eating a slab of raw meat, in this case a rabbit kidney. Raw is the story of first-year university student Justine (an astounding Garance Marillier), a vegetarian like the rest of her family - including her sister and second-year student Alexia (an equally magnificent Ella Rumpf) - who is attending veterinary school. Several people reportedly fainted during a screening at the latter gathering, and it’s not hard to imagine that happening at all: Raw is one hell of a grisly movie to withstand, but like all great or near-great horror, its plentiful blood and guts are in service of a number of higher themes. The first filmmaker that comes to mind while watching Raw is Canadian legend David Cronenberg, but even Cronenberg’s first couple of features – as jarring and morbidly compelling as they were - may not have achieved quite the same complete control and confidence that French writer/director Julia Ducournau exhibits in her feature debut, an instant feminist horror classic which opened in limited release this weekend after stunning viewers last year at the Cannes and Toronto film festivals. |
